Yet another compilation from Cyberware Productions gathering the best Finnish electro, industrial and dark wave acts. 15 bands presenting the best from their repertuar. Freeze 2 includes many familiar bands of Finnish electromusic scene already known from the first episode of this compilation, but also many brilliant newcomers to challenge to these pioneers.

CHAINGUN OPERATE
Is currently the most active industrialgroup in Finland. After over a year of silence they released a new demotape, appear on this compilation and will play a several concerts in Finland this autumn. The title (Ogre) The Disk Killer has nothing to do with Skinny Puppy, but among them their influences come from Front Line Assembly and Leæther Strip. Their first cd will follow in January '96 through Cyberware Productions.

NYX
The new talent Nyx has played a few gigs in Finland and are soon about to release their first demotape. They combine nice female vocals with soft and dark synthpop-sounds.

CONTROL IS THE KEY TO
More harsh and uncompromising industrial plays this band from the westcoast. Distorted vocals combined with raw synthsounds and aggressive drumbeats gives the listener very anxious feelings.

[ACTIVE] MEDIA DISEASE
One of the highlights of this compilation. [Active] Media Disease will be the hit in 1996. Their brilliant synthsounds, distorted voices and raw guitar attacks are merged with nice melodies, innocent vocals and danceable beats. Their music can be compared to combination of Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails. Absolutely Fabulous!

SCOUTGABE
Very talented new band performing nice and cold dark wave music with astonishing female vocals. Their first demotape will be ready soon and they will definitely challenge many old wave acts.

THE INSULT THAT MADE A MAN OUT OF MAC
The song Underhygiene is the remix from their multimedia product. They have also made a brilliant video of this song, soon to be on MTV hopefully. They are huge in their hometown while the rest of the electroglobe is still waiting for their coming...

CORPORAL FEAST
In the spirit of Nitzer Ebb, Einstürzende Neubauten and Laibach this new band has been the breakthrough of the year in Finnish industrial. Their liveshows full of metal, garbage, iron and noise really receives to be noticed.

NEUROACTIVE
The most successfull Finnish electroband recently are soon releasing a new material which their fans have waited a long time. Surface presents their new and more atmospheric sound, but this doesn't mean that they can't be danceable any more. Their forthcoming cd-maxi will prove you that!

DISASTER VILLAGE
Delerium meets Will is very close as a comparison about this project. Nice melodic synthchoruses and powerfull orchestral hits are just a few what this band has to offer. Atmospheric and melodic!

SWEATING SICKNESS
Sweating Sickness was about to come the masters of Finnish dark wave music, but after the hit Tomorrow Never Came they have not managed to reached the public with any other new stuff. Oblivion is the first sign of this talented duo since two years and we start to wait the revival...

NAIL
Comes from middle of Finland and really shows the southern pioneers the way to make raw and aggressive industrial. With minimalistic sounds and simplified vocals they manage to reach the perfect balance of state.

SHADE FACTORY
The first Finnish industrial band who tried their wings abroad has still developed their music to more powerfull way. After the pure ebm and then more gothic stuff they now add hiphop beats, raw guitar and distorted vocals. Their forthcoming maxi-cd will anyway still be different and styles them more back to their roots.

A-TYD
Are still on the run in a style of hypnotic soundscapes, noisy guitars and dark vocals. Their aggressive and destroying liveshows have received splendid feedback from the press and now they are ready to show their teeth to international audience again.

BULIMIA
Bulimia are still the same. Their weird soundscapes have now got accompanion of vocoder vocals. With powerfull beats and slavic attitude in their songs they still want to change the world as they would like it to be.

FEMININE FIST
This talented one-man-band really goes below the waist. Their most desired thoughts come to live in their music and their unfeministic needs turn into reality with samples which would need parental advisory stickers on them.
