Great Anniversary sampler! 

"I had a vision when I started the label" - did I really thought like that what I said a while 
ago in US Interface magazine. Maybe I did had a vision long time ago, but during the years it 
has definitely vanished! Running a label is not a sort of a fairytale it sounds.

1993 it was a sort of force driving me into forming a label. I just thought to make a tape 
compilation when somebody asked why the fuck I do such an old fashion thing as a tape. Next 
moment I found myself planning a cd and soon after having build the whole label around that 
concept. Definitely Finland needed a label for industrial, electro and such genres and 
definitely there was many bands you deserved to get their music released on record. Did I had 
a vision? Yes I did.

Freeze - a Finnish industrial compilation was released in August that year, following few months 
after a similar one including Scandinavian acts only. One of the highlights during these five 
years was for sure to release the first record of a band - Neuroactive. They were the band we 
hoped a lot for and with whom we have experinced a lot. Neuroactive were soon followed by a 
bunch of artists sharing the similar taste and vision that I had - Fuze Box Machine, Active 
Media Disease, Chaingun Operate, Restricted Area... And definitely and most likely the best 
selling Cyberware act of all time, Terminal Choice. It was pooring rain in that one evening in 
Berlin when I first met Christian Pohl on the way to a concert at Passion Kirche. Didn’t thought 
that time that the meeting would start quite a long relationship and a row of successfull records. 
I am glad it did...

Finally we even started to license exclusively acts for the ever growing Scandinavian market. 
Swamp Terrorists was the first and gladly very successfull which opened the doors for later 
experimentations with such artists as In The Nursery, Hocico, Spahn Ranch and RX. All those 
bands and more you will find from the limited edition version of this compilation

Last year, when it was after a long time,  a moment to find a new groups we ended up to sign 
DeiSix, Kinetic and The Shadow Dance - two latter which definitely raised some curious thoughts 
about the future style of Cyberware. The Shadow Dance being definitely one of the most unexpected 
signings. How come anybody would have even guessed that one day we would sing up a gothic band? 
And a good one too!

Years have passed by and we still keep on going... Five years felt like five weeks. I hope we 
still be around in the next yearthousand. Today, I just want you to listen this sampler, enjoy 
it as I do, ‘cause I am pretty sure we have managed to gather together some of the best 
industrial- and synthmusic (oh yes, and gothic ofcourse) which end of the millennium can bring 
you.
